my teachers wasted no time this year and all my classes are pretty much in full swing. loverly. i've accepted the fact that i will be a caffeine addict by the end of this year. I'm quite infatuated with my computer graphics teacher. He's a web designer, and to me that just screams sexy. I'm a nerd, I know, get over it. I have 18 sketches due next week for graphic design. And sketches aren't like half page pencil drawings, full 8.5x11 inked drawings. Splendid. I'm just glad that this project requires with, and wit is something I actually have. Craftsmanship is a different story. I realized that on wednesdays I will spend and unconditional minimum of 6 1/2 hours infront of a computer in class. By 10pm, my brain is fried.

hi friends out there that i haven't spoken to since i left for school. i miss you guys. but luckily my social life has improved dramatically since i now have three roommates instead of two. last night i went to first friday with amanda and rachel. all the galleries were ridiculously hot and rachel and i could only stand them for a few minutes. after the galleries closed we went down to south street and were leered at by scary men in cars and bouncers. we went to a tattoo parlour and got into a long conversation with one of the employees. he said rachel looked like the tattoo type, i maybe looked like the type, and amanda did not. he wasn't really being serious, just being an ass for fun, but i think it discouraged amanda. not me though. they were really pricey, i mean i know tattoos are expensive, but i think 150 dollars for a not so intricate 2 inch bird is a little outrageous. maybe i'm wrong, i don't know. i'll probably get mine back home, maybe as a christmas present to myself.
